Join Ann Sensing of
Magnolia Meditation, sound meditation guide and facilitator, for her signature sound bath offering held in the natural outdoor setting and beauty of Cheekwood. For this 60-minute sound meditation, experience the relaxing and healing effects sound can have on the mind and body using crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, gong, koshi chimes, and more. Ann will first guide us through gentle grounding breathing exercises to create space for deep listening, followed by an immersion of sound where you are encouraged to let go, listen, and receive. The practice will leave you feeling rested and ready for the rest of your day. No prior experience is necessary and all abilities are welcome.
Classes will be held in the Blevins Japanese Garden Pavilion, weather permitting. In the event of rain, class will be cancelled, and registrants will receive a wellness class voucher valid for one year. Please dress comfortably for the outdoors and bring your own yoga mat, blanket, or meditation cushion for sitting. In accordance with social distancing and health precautions, no mats or blankets will be provided, and participants will be spaced six feet apart. Class size is limited to 12 participants.
